EvidenceHelix
ABOUT EVIDENCEHELIX

Biomedical research intelligence built around evidence, provenance, and reproducibility.

EvidenceHelix is a biomedical research intelligence platform that helps researchers follow one scientific question across disease biology, genetics and genomics, human anatomy, medications and pharmacogenomics, clinical trials, epidemiology and population health, scientific literature, contradictions, and research provenance. The platform combines governed retrieval, structured evidence, evidence graphs, source-grounded AI synthesis, hypothesis development, experimental workflows, and reproducible research tools in one connected workspace.

Official identity EvidenceHelix refers to the biomedical research software platform published at evidencehelix.com. EvidenceHelix is an independent platform and is not affiliated with similarly named genomics companies, forensic databases, ecommerce tools, or other products that use the word “Helix.”

What EvidenceHelix does

EvidenceHelix connects scientific evidence that is usually fragmented across separate databases and research domains. A user can move from a disease or phenotype into genes, pathways, anatomy, compounds, medications, clinical trials, published studies, population evidence, regulatory context, and competing explanations while retaining source IDs and provenance.

Scientific evidence synthesis

The platform’s Professor reasoning layer retrieves governed evidence, normalizes scientific entities, reranks relevant records, identifies candidate claims, searches for counter-evidence, reconciles disagreement, and produces source-linked synthesis. The goal is not to flatten scientific disagreement into one answer, but to make supporting, contradicting, contextual, and unresolved evidence inspectable.

Biomedical research domains

  • Disease biology and mechanisms
  • Genetics, genomics, functional genomics, and pathways
  • Human anatomy and biological structures
  • Medications, pharmacogenomics, labels, and safety evidence
  • Clinical trials and study design
  • Epidemiology, cohorts, exposures, and population health
  • Botany, plant evidence, phytochemistry, and herbal interaction research
  • Scientific experiments, Bayesian learning, evidence graphs, and reproducibility

Provenance-first research

EvidenceHelix is designed so models interpret governed evidence rather than become the evidence. Source identifiers, retrieval context, study metadata, uncertainty, contradictions, licensing constraints, and reproducibility information remain attached to the research trail.

Research, not diagnosis

EvidenceHelix is a research and educational platform. It is not a diagnostic service, does not prescribe treatment, and does not instruct users to start, stop, or change medication. Biomedical outputs are intended to support research review and better scientific questions.
